The DCR-HC21 has improved 20X Optical/800X digital zoom, and technology, the image stabilization. The DCR-HC32 comes complete with a Memory Stick Duo slot. If you have a video camera or camera from Sony and it breaks, you should check to see the return if you get a new one. It is possible, a new one if your offer is still under warranty should be maintained. You need only fill your warranty and send it in, of course, with the video camera, allowing them to resolve either the problem or simply send a new video camera. It will probably take a little, but it is worthwhile to beWarranty after you have a brand new video camera and not the more ragged. It takes only a few minutes online and see if you can only fill a simple form defective product or something similar. If not, then you will only purchase a brand new camera and will be forced to something that you probably do not want to because you wanted to buy your video camera.
